Mafia’s Tour ( 6 days )  - In partnership with one sicily

Running through the history of Mafia, we offer you an itinerary, along places and sites where culture and art have always had an important place.

Starting from the medieval Palermo, passing through the XVIII th century city of Cagliostro’s “Beati Paoli”, you can discover the villages of Palermo hinterland that are not only the native places of famous bosses, but also places where history and art meet with extraordinary effects.

 Programma 

Day1: Arrival in Catania or Palermo Airport. Transfer to Palermo, accommodation in the hotel. Check in; dinner and overnight. 

Day2: Full board at the hotel. In the morning, visit of Palermo’s medieval quarters. In the afternoon, visit of the “invisible” Palermo, following the path of the XVIII th century’s sect of the “Beati Paoli”. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day3: Full board at the hotel. Departure to Carini and visit of the legendary castle. Continuation to Montelepre, native town of the bandit Salvatore Giuliano. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Departure to Partinico. Visit of the village old centre. Going back to Palermo, stop in Monreale. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day4: Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Corleone, visit of the city centre and of the civic museum. Visit of Ferdinand I ‘s “Casina di Caccia” (“Hunting Residence”) in the wood of Ficuzza. Lunch at restaurant and, in the afternoon, departure to Piana degli Albanesi, a village inhabited by an Albanian colony settled in Sicily in the XVth century, following Skandberg. Before coming back to the hotel, stop at Portella della Ginestra (the place where the bandits of  Salvatore Giuliano slaughtered local farmers who were celebrating the 1^st of May). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day5: Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Caccamo and visit of the famous Castle and  of the historical centre. Lunch at a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, continuation to Termini Imerese and Bagheria where you can visit some XIXth century’s aristocratic residences. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight. 

Day6: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Check-in. Departure.
