Discover Sicily,
travelling cradled by Aeolus’ gentle breath,
finding the island’s myths, surrounded by enchanting and beautiful
landscapes, charmed by the colours and scents of our land and its
surprisingly active volcanoes.
Program
Day1:
Arrival and meeting with the tour guide,
presentation of the programme’s journey.
Transfer by minibus to Milazzo and departure to Vulcano by hydrofoil. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner
at restaurant, overnight at the hotel.
Day2: Vulcano
Excursion to the crater “Cratere
della Fossa” that will
surprise you with its fumaroles and sulphur crystals and its wonderful landscape. Visit of
the “Valle dei Mostri”.
Dinner at restaurant and overnight at the hotel. (3 hours trekking).
Day3: Stromboli
Departure to Stromboli by
hydrofoil. In the afternoon, ascent to the volcano with a volcano’s expert tour guide.
Observation of the activity of one of the best known volcanoes in the world.
Dinner at restaurant, overnight at the hotel.
Access to the trails is subjected to regulations of the Civil
Defence which can vary according to the conditions of the volcano’s activity,
and still provides accompaniment by authorized expert guides for the access to the upper areas.
Day4: Panarea
Departure by hydrofoil to Panarea
and visit of its small village.
Trekking to Punta Corvo (mt.
400), a panoramic place of the island. Return by hydrofoil to Vulcano. Dinner and overnight. (3 hours trekking)
Day5: Salina
Transfer by hydrofoil to Salina, the green island with its twin
cones, very popular for its “Malvasia” wine.
Ascent to the Mt. “fossa
delle Felci”, ( 962 m.), Salina’s Nature Riserve. Visit of
Santa Marina village, return by hydrofoil to Vulcano.
Dinner at restaurant, overnight at the hotel. (6
hours trekking).
Day6: Lipari
Transfer by hydrofoil to Lipari,
the main island of the Aeolian archipel.
Excursion to St. Calogero’s Baths, along a
wonderful path running along Lipari’s beautiful
coastline.
Free time. Return by hydrofoil to Vulcano. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the
hotel. (4 hours trekking).
Day7: Vulcano
Free time with the possibility to see Vulcano’s wonderful black shores and to have a bath in a natural hot volcanic lake. Dinner at the restaurant
and overnight at the hotel.
Day8: Apt Catania
Departure to Milazzo, transfer to Catania Airport.

The tour’s itinerary can vary according to the volcanic activity and to
weather conditions.
